Abolish the Canadian Governor-General

If you believe in democracy, you HAVE a duty to call for the abolition of the Governor-General.

The Governor-General (GG) announced this afternoon (December 4, 2008) that she would grant Stephen Harper’s request to prorogue the Parliament. She claimed that she has the constitutional right to do so and did it without consulting with one Canadian. That is totally undemocratic. Actually it is down right aristocratic.

Stephen Harper claimed that the coalition opposition tries to topple his minority government and ask the GG to allow them to form a new government is undemocratic. It is undemocratic because the public did not vote for them to form the government. That is a fair statement.

Having said that, it is then only fair and democratic to have another election if the government falls due to a non-confident vote. It should be pointed out that it is the government who insisted that the vote should be considered as a confidence vote. The opposition did not ask for that.

Whether there should be another election or not is an entirely separate issue. It should not be the critical issue that determines whether confidence vote should take place as the government scheduled. To delay, defer and/or cancel the vote is strictly democracy denied!

Yet, the GG prorogue the Parliament. In effect the GG denies democracy and pop-up a minority government that faces certain defeat. Not only that is undemocratic, but also the GG sets a dangerous precedent for any government to use GG to deny democracy in the future.

The GG is paid for using our tax money. We have a right to expect the GG to be democratic. Now that GG has proved that she is aristocratic instead of democratic, it is high time that we call for the abolition of the GG. After all Governor-General is a symbol of British monarchy. Canadian has repatriated the Constitution long time ago. It is time to cut the tie with the British monarchy.

An urgent message for ABCers (ie Anybody But Conervative).

As you are well aware, the Canadian election is going to be held in a week. For those who want to defeat the Conservative and./or at least make sure that they do NOT have a majority, here is an important and urgent message.

The critical thing for ABC is NOT to waste your vote. So, you have to know who to vote for in order to defeat your local Conservative candidate. One way to find the necessary information is to visit the http://www.voteforenvironment.ca site. They have also kindly produced a video which will give you more reason NOT to vote for the Conservative. The link that they provided is listed below.

I encourage you, at least, to visit the site to look for the party to vote for in your local riding. If you have time, do look at the video.

According to the Bible, God is a mass murderer.

According to the Bible, when the Egyptian army chased Moses to the Red Sea, Moses asked God to open the Red Sea to cross to the other side. After Moses and his people had crossed over, God closed the Red Sea and thus drowned the Egyptian army!

God consciously drown the Egyptian army, as he could have closed the Red Sea enough to stop the Egyptian army from chasing Moses. It is possible to do that, as he is all mighty, according to the Bible. So, God committed a pre-meditated killing of the Egyptian army. By definition, pre-meditated killing is murder.

One would argue that since the Egyptian army wanted to kill Moses and his people, it is justifiable to kill them. That is valid only if the whole Egyptian army, every one of them, wanted to kill Moses and his people. Everyone knows that it is the Egyptian king who ordered the army to chase after Moses. The army is then just doing what they were told. To argue the Egyptian army is the same as the Egyptian king is like saying all the US government employees are Republican. If the Democrat wins the election, then all of a sudden, they all become Democrats!

So, according to the Bible, God is a mass murderer, as he killed not one but an army of people.

According to the Bible, God is either a Racist or a Liar.

According to the Bible, God said, “the people of Israel are the chosen people”. God made a free choice, as nobody forced him to do so. That should make God a Racist, as he prefered one race over all others.

But some people say the Bible said God also said “all men are equal”. So, God is NOT a Racist. OK. Then why did God choose the people of Israel over the people of, say, Egypt? Obvious the people of Egypt are NOT equal to the people of Israel. Otherwise God would not have chosen the people of Israel. Well, then all men are NOT equal. That would also mean God is a Liar!

Justifying God is not a liar would make God a Racist. Justifying God is not a Racist would make God a Liar. So, take your pick. God IS either a Racist OR a Liar.

My dilemma – if I vote for the Conservative party, I will be a criminal!

My local Conservative candidate just came to my door and talked to me. I don’t have a problem with this guy. But I have a problem with his party leader – Stephen Harper.

Stephen Harper introduced the “Fix Election Date” law and then turned around and called a general election. My local candidate vigorously defended Stephen Harper with all kinds of excuses. But if Stephen Harper called an election BEFORE the fixed date, he breaks the law, clear and simple.

I have no problem with my local Conservative candidate. So far, he is the only local candidate of any party who came to my door. For that, he has the upper hand. But if I vote for him, it would mean that I also vote for Stephen Harper. Since Stephen Harper broke the law, he is a criminal by definition. If I vote for a criminal, it would make me a criminal by default.

So, here is my dilemma, how can I vote for my local Conservative without making myself a criminal? I bet I am not the only one who has this problem. Well if there is no solution, may be the answer is to vote for anyone but the Conservative (ie. ABC – sounds familiar huh!).

Canadians, you should vote for Stephen Harper.

Open message for all Canadians: You should vote for Stephen Harper.

All Canadians are stupid including yours truly. You voted for Stephen Harper 2 years ago. You have seen him as Prime Minister for over 2 years and yet you still want to give Stephen Harper a majority. So, if you are not stupid, what are you?

In case you are so stupid and do not know. Here is something that you may know but still want to ignore. That is sure sign of stupidity:

1) Stephen Harper became leader of the Reform party only because he promised not to merge with the then PC party.
2) The Reform party then became the Conservative party because he merged with the PC party leaded by Peter Mackay who also become leader based on WRITTEN promise NOT to merge with the Reform party.
3) The current leader and deputy leader of the Conservative party is Stephen Harper and Peter Mackay! Doesn’t that give you idea that the Conservative party will promise you anything and then promptly breaks it to do what these guys want to do?
4) Stephen Harper was proud to introduce the “Fix Election Day” law for Canadian general election. According to that law the current election should be in November of 2009, a year away. So, Stephen Harper clearly breaks the law. So, is the Conservative party a law abiding party? How honest is Stephen Harper.
5) Now, Stephen Harper even plagiarizes his speech but blamed on his researcher. So, how responsible is Stephen Harper.

Now you cannot claim that you didn’t know about the above 5 points. I don’t know about you. But I would call you stupid if you still want to give Stephen Harper a majority after knowing the above.

So. Go ahead vote for Stephen Harper. Make my day.

Strategic voting to prevent a Conservative majority

Day 22 of the Federal Election.

Looks like the PC is going for a majority. A PC majority government will be a disaster for Canada. It is nearly impossible to get rid of the PC government. However, it is still possible to prevent it from getting a majority. The way to do it is to do strategic voting.

Some may say strategic voting is useless. It only allows PC to split the vote and gain a majority just like what the Liberals did previously. That is not true as things are different now.

To begin with, now people want to get rid of the Conservative. They have no choice because 1) Stephen Dion of the Liberals does not have party leadership quality, never mind to be a prime minister. 2) The NDP party is too out of mainstream. 3) The Green party has no platform and approaching NO chance of forming government.

The most recent poll favouring the Conservative has PC with 40%, Liberals and NDP both having 20% and Green having 9 %. If the percentage translates to seats, PC will only have a minority. However, history tells us that is not the case. This is because people fool hardily spit the vote in individual riding and allows PC candidate to be elected. So, this is why strategic voting is so important.

Strategic voting would eliminate this problem. The problem with strategic voting is there is no common co-ordination and therefore do not know who and which party to vote for. But if you search the Internet, you will notice there is a guy in Hamilton Ontario doing the coordination now. So, now you do NOT have an excuse not to do it.

Forcing PC to have a minority has another benefit that most voters do not see. It is actually better for BOTH the Liberal and the NDP party. The reason is Stephen Dion will be forced to resign in the after election review. That will be good news for the Liberals, as they will have a new leader. It will be good for Jack Layton also as he will face inexperience Liberal leader. Most other people will also be happy because PC will not form a majority government. So, all people who do not like Stephen Harper, whether they are Liberal, NDP, Green and/or any other party, DO strategic voting and you will be happy.

Punish Gerard Kennedy for making Stephen Dion the Liberal leader.

The Conservative party is going to win the election with at least a minority and quite possibly a majority.

Who is responsible for that. Its not Stephen Harper. It is Gerard Kennedy. Stephen Harper wins because Stephen Dion is so bad. And who made Stephen Dion as the Liberal leader? Gerard Kennedy. He was hailed as the king maker. Remember?

Anybody but Stephen Dion would have the Liberal party forming a minority government in this election. If you are a Liberal. Consider this election is lost. The only hope is to throw out Stephen Dion and regroup.

This general election is illegal and there is no need for it. It is a waste of yours and mine tax money. It only happens because Stephen Harper see the opportunity to trash Stephen Dion at the expanse of you and me.

Some one has to pay for this mess. Gerard Kennedy is the one who has to pay because he is the one who put Stephen Dion as the Liberal leader. Of course, politician can get away with murder. But one thing that you and me can do is to make sure Gerard Kennedy cannot be a politician. How? Its up to the people in his riding. Vote anyone but Gerard Kennedy. Vote PC, NDP, Green or anybody else but don't stay home and not vote.

Gerard Kennedy - What did Stephen Harper promise you for backing Stephane Dion as Liberal party leader?

With people like Gerard Kennedy, the Liberal party deserves to lose the election this October.

Let me predict, and you heard it here first, the Liberal party is going to have less than 40 seats this time.

Of course, this has nothing to do with Gerard Kennedy. Stephen Dion is the sole reason. But Dion is the leader of the Liberal party because of Gerard Kennedy. And that is why people say Gerard Kennedy is the king maker!

What people do not know is Gerard Kennedy is, I believe, a Conservative mole claiming to be a Liberal. You don't believe that huh.

Well. You see Stephen Harper is very smart. He knows that he has no chance to be re-elected as prime minister if either Bob Rae or Michael Ignatieff became the Liberal leader. So, the only way is to make sure neither of them can be the leader. Stephen Harper also knew three (2) critical facts about the Liberal leader convention. First, because there were so many leadership candidates, the only way to win is to form some kind of alliance among candidates. Second, the rivalry between Bob Rae and Michael Ignatieff is so bad, they would rather support other candidate than to let their rival wins. Thirdly, either Bob Rae or Michael Ignatieff will win if the third or fourth leading candidate would join force with either one of them.

Bob Rae was aware of these critical facts too. That is why Bob Rae tried to convince Gerard Kennedy in the summer before the convention. What Bob didn't know is Gerard Kennedy is a Conservative mole.

You would say that is ridiculous. What good will it do for Kennedy? Well. What can happen is once Gerard Kennedy wins the by-election, he will cross the floor to join the Conservative and Stephen Harper will make him deputy prime minister. Don't believe me? Then look at David Emerson who use to be a Liberal. Of course we will never find out whether that is true now that Stephen Harper called a general election and nullified the Gerard Kennedy's by-election.

OK. So you are still not convinced. I don't blame you. Why not give Gerard Kennedy a chance to answer the question and that is the title of this blog.

Stephen Harper - what is your definition of a crook?

So Stephen Harper wants a majority in this election.



I guess he is entitle to what he wants. The question is whether he deserves a majority? But wait. Before you even think about it. Ask yourself whether you would trust a guy who breaks his own law?



I don't know about you. In my book, a guy who breaks common law is called a "crook". A guy who breaks his own law is beyond the vocabulary of my book. Does "a self made crook" fit the description?



In case you ask what law did Stephen Harper break? Well before he became the current prime minister, Stephen Harper has been complaining that the Liberal party has been manipulating the election date to favour the Liberty party. Steven Harper vowed to introduce a "Fix Election Date" law if he was elected. I tip my hat to Stephen Harper. He did introduced and managed to pass such a law. Give credit where credit is due. Stephen, you keep your words. Kudos to you. That law calls for the next election to be in October of 2009, more than a year from now!



Now, why are we going to have another election in October 14 of this year? Apparently, Stephen Harper went to the Governor General and ask her to dissolve the parliament for an election. So, technically Stephen Harper did NOT break the law. The Governor General did, on the advice of Stephen Harper. Doesn't this scenario give you the impression that the Governor General is nothing but a puppet!? Can someone explain to you why you should spend your hard earned tax money to support a puppet? But that is besides the point. The point is Stephen Harper manipulate the Governor General to break the law for him. In other words, Stephen Harper is the puppet master who master minded the criminal act. Is he guilty? Go ask the judge who was appointed by Stephen Harper.

A better approach is to ask Stephen Harper himself for the definition of a "crook". That way he cannot sue you for libel and you can call him whatever he defined as a crook. Smart huh? Only problem is you can bet your money that he is not going to give you any idea.

So, here is an open question to Stephen Harper, or the PC party, or his supporter or anyone who has the gut to speak up - If not a crook, what would you call Stephen Harper who passed and then break his own law.

My bet is this question is going to be open forever.

For Canada's sake, dump Stephane Dion and vote Jack Layton of the NDP

The US election seems to be in a holding pattern while the Canadian election is dull, dull and dull.

It is dull all because of Stephane Dion. You may ask why?

Firstly, nothing against Stephane, his English is painful. Why the Liberals pick him as leader is beyond me. Well, may be those guys only care about their own candidate and NOT the party.

Secondly, Stephane is stubborn and NOT flexible. He chose to call his show piece idea as "Green Shift" just shows that he is also stupid. The question to ask is why none of his so call advisers did not raise the possibility that people will eventually call it as "Green Shit". Let me predict that by the second week of October, it is going to be known as "Green Shit". You may laugh, but I did call that Hilary was going to lose to Obama way back in the Spring. However, it is hard to believe that none of his advisors has ever thought of that. The only explanation is that Stephane vetoed the idea. After all, he lives and dies with the Green idea.

Thirdly, Stephane is NOT performing. It is not that people did not give him the benefit of the doubt! He has enough time to prove to people that he is a leader. He is NOT decisive; NOT strong in character; shows NO strong conviction. He cannot gel the Liberal members and stamp out internal in-fighting among rival candidates. In short, he just does NOT have leadership quality. Need I say more??

So, a note to all Canadians. Stephane Dion is going to sink the Liberal party! And that would mean the PC party is going to have a majority. For heaven's sake, PC party is the party who makes the law (fix election date) and then breaks the law. Imagine that you are going to be governed by a political party who does NOT even respect their own law!

So, what is the solution? ALL Liberals should vote NDP . Make Jack Layton as the official opposition leader. OK, what is the big deal?

Well, what it means is that PC is going to form yet another minority government. That will keep Steven Harper in check. The Liberals will dump Stephane Dion and elect another leader. Steven Harper will most likely have to step down as there is going to be rebellion within the PC party against his iron fist attitude. Jack Layton is going to lose the next election as there is just NOT enough talents within the NDP party to help him to form the government. The big corporations are also going to see that NDP will never govern Canada.

Call me crazy and send me hate mail. But if you stop and think of it, you will see the light.

Bill Clinton is a closet Obama fan.

Barack Obama is going to be the Demoncratic presidential canadidate. Yes. You heard it here first.

You ask why? Are you crazy? Why would Bill not want his wife to be the presidential candidate? Well, its because Bill Clinton is a closet Barack Obama fan.

Think back when Bill got caught with Monica Lewinsky, he got away with not even a word from Hillary. Do you think Hillary is such a forgiving woman? Far from it! She knew that she has everything to lose and Bill, being the president of the United States, can get away with murder. Fact is Hillary is not stupid. She knew that the only revenge is to become president herself. In exchange for forgiveness, Bill promised his undying help to get her elected.

Knowing the background, its easy to understand Bill Clinton's attack dog attitude. However, Bill is not a fool either. He knows that he will suffer the ultimate embarrassment if Hillary becomes president. So, Bill was secretly rooting for Obama.

Comparing Obama with Jesses Jackson was the final plot to derail Hillary's goal of becoming president. Bill knows that once racial pride gets in the election picture, its going to be like a tidal wave. Hillary will have no chance period. Mark my words. You will see Bill staying in the background from now on and Hillary will be gone before August.

Stupid Republicans; Dumb Milt Romney

--- Not being an American, I have no interest in any of their political party. Whoever got elected is going to continue to screw the rest of the world anyway. Actually, this applies to all countries in the world. Every country wants to screw the rest of the world. Hey, that is only human nature. Everyone wants to beat the other guy. Whoever tells you that all man are equal is just a pure liar! That being said, its easy to see why I said Republicans are stupid.

Anyone who pays little attention to the recent TV debate of both the Demoncratic and the Republican candidates will notice that the Demoncratic debate is getting to be a love-in between Hilary and Obama. The Repulican, on the other hand, is still slugging out between 4 candidates with 2 having no hope at all.

The stupid thing is McCain has no idea about economics and Milt Romney has no appeal other than economics and yet they keep pointing out the other guy's weakness! The more critical stupid thing is no Republican party insiders (officals) is quietly telling these two camps to cool it. The longer this situation is going to last, the more damage is going to be for the Republican's chance to win the election. If that is not stupid, what is it?

So, you say then why dump Milt Romney? Its no secret that NO Republican candidate like Romney. That means Romney is deviding the party members into 2 camps. Do you think Republican can win the election if they can even agree among their own party? Besides, the longer they do not and cannot resolve this publem, the longer they are going to let the media to showcase the Demoncratic love-in and that is suicidal! The dumb thing is Milt Romney shows (at least so far) no sign of trying to help his own party. What the Republicans need to know is "united we win, devided we lose". Milt Romney clearly shows he is more interest in himself than his party. I have a feeling that Milt Romney is secretly a Demoncratic.

Judge, dictator and rich people

3 items in the news deserve people to take notice. All these are reported in the Toronto Star paper edition (I have not checked, but it could also be in the Internet version).

1) Ontario Judge order witness to wear mask to testify just because he is HIV positive.
2) PM (Stephen Harper) fired the head of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission Linda Keen.
3) Brian Mulroney's lawyer objects to let witness to testify in the Commons committee investigating former PM Brian Mulroney.

- Ontario Judge Jon-Jo Douglas order HIV positive witness to wear mask before testifying in front of him citing HIV virus live in a dried state for years after years.

If that is really the case, practical all the health care people should be HIV positive and many should have died by now! Anyone with common sense knows that is NOT the case. Bluma Brenner, an assistant professor at the McGill AIDS Clinic at McGill University in Montreal indicated that HIV virus drying on the floor would be inactivated within 20 minutes.
Well. It begs to question whether this Judge is competent to be a Judge. The ultimate question is how is a Judge being appointed to be a Judge. Would someone in the legal field stand up and explain to the people?

- Stephen Harper fired the head of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission Linda Keen because she refused to let the Chalk river Nuclear reactor to restart due to failure to comply with safety
regulation.

The job description of Nuclear Safety Commission is to safeguard the safety of Nuclear facilities. That being the case, isn't Linda Keen just doing her job? The Commission is also an "at an arm's length" government commission. Stephen Harper's order to Linda Keen is a clear violation of the "at an arm's length" principle. Doesn't it seem that Stephen Harper is behaving as a dictator? Doesn't it send the message of "do as I say or I will fire you"? Why should Canadian elect a potential dictator?? He and the PC party must be defeated in the next election if Canadian do not want to live under a dictator!

- Brian Mulroney's attorney objects to let witness to testify in the Commons committee investigating form PM Brian Mulroney.

What makes Brian Mulroney and his lawyer think that they have the power to stop anybody to testify in the Commons committee? If the committee allows that, then why do we want a Commons committee? Its good to know that the committee rejected to allow this ridiculous objection. But doesn't this whole thing demonstrate the idea that rich and powerful people think that they can do whatever they want. No wonder that someone once told me that the existence of poor people is to serve the rich people, pure and simple. Now, where are all these people who say that all men are equal??

Welcome to my FIRST piece of my mind

As the Title says, this is the very first piece of my mind.

I initially have no intention for any blogging. However, over the year, there are all kind of people say whatever they like and impose upon other people to accept their point of view. The major offender are the politicians. Just because they got elected, they think they have the right to say whatever they want and get away with it. Other offenders are extreme religious people, rich people, .........

Well, I have enough of these people. I will give a piece of my mind here. You may or may not like it and I don't give a damn. You have your say and now its my turn. I heard you and now you have to hear me. Its like "an ear for an ear" -- hence my Gmail address "anear4anear".

Of course, I will remise, if I don't give a piece of my mind in my first blog.

I am aware that politician do twist what they say to get elected. But to do outright the exact opposite AFTER they got elected deserves to be singled out.

One of the worst kind is the current Canadian Prime Minister - Steven Harper. To get elected, he promised the Canadian citizens that he would NOT touch the "Income Trust". Yet, in less than a year after he was elected, Steven Harper ordered his Finance Minister to dismantle the "Income Trust". Billions of dollars in Income Trust Stocks were lost overnight! I don't know about you. But that is a lie to me. Thanks a lot Steven Harper.

In his first budget, Steven Harper claims to have cut Income tax. As a whole, there is no argument that there was a cut. But if you look deep into it, Steven Harper actually increased the tax for the lowest income group from 15% to 15.5%. If that claim is an advertisement, it could be charged for FALSE advertisement. In my book, that is a lie too.
